Jessica Sanchez, the Filipina-Mexican competitor of the champion, can be recalled as the crowd favorite. A hometown hero to her country, she is known for her powerful voice and her charismatic performances. However, Philip Philips’ style of singing, cool and casual with a touch of charisma, had won the hearts of Americans.
It can be recalled that the judges of the said competition favored Jessica Sanchez, one of them specifically Jennifer Lopez. The judge believed in her skills in singing and performance. Aerosmith frontman and co-judge Steve Tyler also commended the young contestant for her powerful performances. However, like any other competition, there can only be one champion.
It is rumored that Jessica Sanchez is about to record her debut CD. After the competition, she mentioned that now that the competition is over, she can finally concentrate on her career in music. Sanchez finds relief that the whole competition is finally over. At the age of 16, she managed to step into the highest pedestals of the competition.
Experts mentioned that Philip Philips had great advantage because of his appealing look in the camera and his original song. He is expected to embark on his new record label and the right to call himself the champion of the competition.
